This theme is clarified by Chris Fawcett, firstSTREET's Vice President of Marketing and Catalog. "Staying comfortable is very important to our customers and, during the summer, staying cool becomes especially important. The overwhelming majority of products in its "Keeping Cool" category are affordably priced for those seeking some comfort in the hot days ahead.

So far, according to Yonts, "the personal cooling gadgets have been the most popular products in this category. People like having the ability to find some relief from the heat when visiting a theme park or doing other outdoor activities. Cubicle dwellers also like these products - since it appears many offices aren't always generous when it comes to turning up the AC."
